Research the café market in Kyiv and give me a report
The agent splits the topic into 3–6 branches (demand, prices, competitors…), each branch searches the internet on its own and at the same time as the others, and then it puts together a report as a Word document: conclusions, a section for each branch and a list of sources. Every claim in the text has a source number, and every source in the file is a link that opens with a click.
How to set it up
Tell the builder what to research. It will:
- create a researcher agent (if there isn't one yet);
- before starting, name the price and time and ask whether to go ahead;
- after your "yes", create a long task — you can see it in the agent's panel and stop it with one word.
You can say the same to the agent itself — in the widget on your site, in Telegram or in a conversation in the dashboard. It will also name the price first and wait for "yes".
How much it costs
This is the most expensive one-off job the platform can do: each branch is several searches and pages read, and everything read goes to the model.
An estimate, not a measurement: 500–1,500 credits and 5–10 minutes per report, depending on the number of branches and the length of the pages. The exact number is visible afterwards — in the agent's run log. If the agent works on its own and you want a limit, give it its own cap.
Where the report arrives
- If you asked in a conversation with the agent — the report arrives in that same conversation as a link to a file.
- If you asked the builder — in your linked chat with the agent, and if there isn't one — as a notification. The builder tells you where exactly when it creates the task.
What isn't there
- PDF. Only DOCX — it opens in Word, Google Docs and LibreOffice, and any of them saves a PDF with one menu item. A PDF without an embedded font doesn't show Cyrillic, so we don't make one rather than make a bad one.
- Tables and images in the report. Text, headings, bullet points and links.
- Pages behind a login and pages that forbid automated reading. The agent will name such a branch as is: "no sources found".
- A guarantee that one pass is enough. Research is designed for one task pass (up to 5 minutes): up to four branches search at the same time, the fifth and sixth in a second wave. If a pass ran out of time or broke off on the report, the next one continues from what was already found: the plan and each researched branch are in the task's notebook (the "task steps" set), so the second time you pay only for what hasn't been done yet. If passes keep adding nothing, the task stops on its own with a problem instead of burning credits endlessly.
